Siddi tribe at Surajkund. The foot tapping and soul stirring music of their ‘Siddhi Gorma’ dance truly reflected the diverse culture of Gujarat. This dance traces its origins to the Afro music brought by african immigrants. Imran Siddi commenting on his tribal culture said that their tribes have got an inclination towards religion & spiritualism and dance and music are the only forms of expression. He feels that it is a kind of a spiritual devotion to his ancestors every time he dances on the stage.

Siddi tribe performers at the open theatre called Chaupal at the Suraj Kund Crafts Mela 2010 which is an annual fair held near Delhi in February. Visitors get to experience folk dances, handicrafts and taste lots of delicious food.
