Basanta Raas, Manipur is one of the five traditional Manipur Raas leelas based on the Bhagavata tradition of the Sringara Rasa of Lord Krishna and his gopis led by Shrimati Radhika. The gopis led by Radha respond to the flute of the Lord and dance together.

The performance of North East Octave Group added to the majestic splendour of the Mela. Octave 2010 brought the rich cultural diversity and hertiage from eight North-Eastern states of India - Assam, Meghalaya, Tripuar, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim. In association with Ministry of Culture, Government of India and North Central Zone Cultural Centre, Allahabad. This performance was the largest group performers at the Surjakund Crafts Mela 2010 held in February in Faridabad, Haryana, India.
