It is located on Nusa Indah Street, about 2 Kms distance from the City Centre or Puputan Badung Park. The Art Centre was officially opened in February 14th, 1973. The Art Centre is a building - complex with Balinese traditional architecture with an extent of about 5 hectares consisted of: Exhibition Hall called Mahudara Mandhara Giri Bhuana where paintings and other traditional Balinese objects are exhibited. The Hall is located on the north side of the Art Centre Complex. The Ksirarnawa Hall, a two-storey hall in which various kinds of performing arts are on stage on the upper floor white exhibitions of handicrafts, gold and silverworks are held on the first floor. The Ardha Candra open stage is located on the Eastern side, on which traditional performing-arts, music-concerts and fashion-shows are often held, The Wantilan Hall is also used for similar purpose. The Art Centre had the Arts festival going on when we visited.
