With its lush green surroundings, spring blossoms, beautiful shorelines and the snow-capped mountains this modern city also gets it share of tourists. Canberra was constituted in 1911 and became the capital of the federated country of Australia. Canberra has Australia's national edifices including the National Museums and Galleries, historic townships, thirty wineries and of course the Old and New Parliament House.
